After the event, Fury made it clear that he now intends to follow through with the Wilder rematch in February.
When asked what he made of the bout, the ‘Bronze Bomber’ initially revealed that he didn’t watch it.
A reporter then informed Wilder of Fury’s one-punch KO victory, to which he jokingly replied: “That ain’t realistic.”
The Brit is now mandatory for the American’s WBC heavyweight title, though their fight was already agreed to take place in 2020 regardless.
Wilder must first get past Luis Ortiz on November 23 to seal the deal.
