Lennox Lewis seemingly believes Eddie Hearn is to blame for his current war of words with Anthony Joshua.
In past interviews, Lennox criticised Joshua and his team for the way they handled negotiations for the failed fight with Deontay Wilder.
Hearn hit back and accused Lewis of having an ‘agenda’ due to his working relationship with PBC on FOX – Wilder’s team and broadcaster.
Now, Joshua has had his say and branded Lennox a ‘clown’, which he hit back at on social media.
AJ since doubled down on his comments and Lewis has spoken out further on the matter, pointing the finger at Hearn.
He posted a picture of a positive tweet he sent to Hearn about Joshua from 2018 and captioned it: “I think this speaks for itself.
“Casting me as a ‘jealous hater’ for AJ’s career is nonsense.
“It all started with rightful criticism for not doing enough to make Wilder fight happen.
“I won’t be pitted against AJ. The Hearn agenda.”
