Tyson Fury weighs in nine stone lighter than opponent for WWE debut

Fury weighed in just under nine stone lighter than his opponent Braun Strowman ahead of their WWE clash on Thursday.

The ‘lineal’ heavyweight world champion is crossing over to the wrestling world to make a debut in an entirely different environment this week at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

Upon arriving in the country, Fury attended the weigh-in and scaled 260lbs (18st 8lbs).

The ‘Monster Among Men’ Strowman came in at 385lbs (27st 7lbs).

Tyson Fury counts Deontay Wilder draw as a win on his record

Fury has corrected his boxing record and made it perfect again, from his own perspective at least.

The 29-0-1 ‘lineal’ heavyweight champion suffered the first blemish of his career last December as he drew with Wilder in LA.

This result was highly controversial with many believing Fury should have got the decision as he outboxed Wilder for the majority of their bout, despite being knocked down twice.

Ultimately the knockdowns were enough to ensure the American also kept his undefeated record with the three judges scoring the bout 114-112 (Fury), 115-111 (Wilder) and 113-113 (draw).

Now however, Fury has seemingly revealed that he’s corrected this by proudly stating: “I’m 30-0.”

Eddie Hearn reveals funny Tyson Fury FaceTime story

Speaking on the True Geordie Podcast, the Matchroom boss said: “He [Fury] phoned me the other night, I was laying in bed, it was like ten to midnight.

“This was before he started training camp for Otto Wallin so I think he’d had a beer or two.

“It’s like *mimics phone vibrating* ‘Tyson Fury would like to FaceTime you.’

“I don’t know if he’s with someone and he wants to give me some stick like, ‘Eddie you w****r, waheyy.’

“So I’ve gone *mimics putting phone down* – like that.

“*Mimics phone vibrating again* – Same again, so I’ve just replied and gone, ‘I’ll call you tomorrow mate.’

“He’s gone, ‘Pick up the phone.’

“I’m like, ‘F***.’

“I’ve gone outside, downstairs, ‘What?’

“[He says], ‘Eddie boy, get up there my boy, waheyy. Why are you working with all these other dosser heavyweights? You need the ‘Gypsy King’ in your life.’

“I’m thinking, ‘What the f***ing..?’ But he’s one of a kind. He’s another great personality.”
