Former UFC world champion Michael Bisping has announced his retirement.
The 39-year-old fighter hadnt been involved in a bout since a first-round knockout defeat to Kevin Gastelum last November.
He became the first British champion in the UFC when he beat Luke Rockhold in June 2016, but has now quit the sport after a 14-year mixed martial arts career.
Speaking on his Believe You Me Podcast, he said: “So obviously Ive teased this for a long time now, I might fight again, I might not. And unfortunately its not a fight that Im announcing.
“I am going to announce my official retirement from mixed martial arts.
Bisping ends his career with a record of 30 wins and nine defeats in a 39-fight career.
